Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. Her birth date was 25 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox received a scholarship to study at the London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Her budget was supplemented by a stipend for students and part-time work. Lennox as she was studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied in her performance when in comparison to the other students. She started to think about different options. Lennox began her career in 1976 as a member of the band Dragons Playground. She quit the band prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent show. She was the lead singer in The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox began work with Diva in 1992. This was her debut album as a solo artist. The album had a tremendous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself was released in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox picked her favorite blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera is a collection of four piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in the month of May, 2019. The E.P. First album of hers"Now I Letting You Go... was released as the perfect accompaniment to her work of artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox (born December 25 in 1954) is a Scottish musician and political activist. The Tourists were a new-wave group that had some success in the late 1970s.
